I have had naprapathy in the past. I now have insurance and want to check if my insurance will cover. Can you tell me what codes I should give?

Doctor:

"I no longer accept payments by insurance although I may refer people to associates who bill their insurance. If you call I'm happy to provide you with a free phone consultation after I've read your chart. Are there any alternative treatments for back pain?

Doctor:

"Yes. There are new medical devices that I am using and that are proven to relieve back pain. They work especially well in the tissues surrounding the vertebral bodies of the back which is a common area that back pain is felt in."

I twisted my knee in soccer practice and its swollen, tingling and a little numb. Should I just use a knee wrap and ice or see a doctor?

Doctor:

"See a doctor, structural specialist. Knee inflammation is due to structural disregulation. This might mean that the hip is out. The whole body needs to be checked. The knee may need to be adjusted. Ice it for now to reduce the swelling. But you may have a more serious condition that may require an MRI to be looked at by an orthopedic surgeon. Once I see the MRI I may be able to treat a knee trauma without surgery... If nothing is torn then we could move right into adjusting the bones and ligaments that may have been rotated out of place and just needs some OMT Naprapathy or red light therapy"

Reply
: Thank you Dr. Barnes. The MRI did reveal the tendons were not torn and Dr. Barnes was right about the knee in relation to the deviation of my spine and hip. All better now!

A couple of weeks ago I began taking 50 mg of iodoral iodine a day. A regular checkup a few days ago revealed low density lipoprotein LDL at 237 with cholesterol over 285. Are these high numbers caused by fat breaking down in less time?

Doctor:

" No, Iodine Iodide will detoxify halides binded with your iodine receptors. Iodine Iodide also increases metabolizism by facilitating thyroiodoperoxidase vital to healthy metabolic function. Iodine Iodide also causes regulation of the thyroid by by binding with Thyroxsine and facilitating T1,T2,T3,T4,T5,T6 and T7. All of these biochemical interaction due affect Pyruvic acid phase in the liver, but not only indirectly. So the answer is complexed. There is other hormonal communication that is facilitated by other biochemical pathways. Please make an appointment and I will review your labs."

Hi Doctor Barnes. I have fibromyalgia and wanted to know what you might suggest I could do to feel better.

Doctor:

" Fibromyalgia is not very well understood by Physicians and is diagnosed by symptoms. There are numerous causes for the symptoms of fibromyalgia. The leading cause I have observed is dehydration and demineralization. I recomend that my patient drink half their body weight in ounces of water, use trace minerals and magnesium with a good Multi Vitamin. I also stress the importance of a consistently good balanced diet with at least 20 minutes of cardio training and stretching with some light weight resistance training."

Reply
: Thank you for taking time to share this. The rule of water is something I hadn't heard before.
Doctor: I also recommend having and Iodine excretion and halide panel laboratory test. Iodine Iodide with a potassium catalyst is very essential to Iodothyroperoxidase. With out this crucial biochemical function the symptoms labeled as Fibromyalgia are much more acute.
